I was very moved by him too - as I imagine everyone who hears him give that "Last Lecture" must feel. I'm so glad you posted about him. I completely agree that his message greatly reflects the message and spirit of the North Star Community, and what we as educators and caregivers are trying to do in our work and intereactions with children. On a side note (yet related), I was especially moved to hear Randy Pausch say at the end of his "Last Lecture" that the lecture was actually intended for his children - whenever they are old enough to understand. What a wonderful gift to pass along to them... his wisdom and encouragement... long after he physically leaves this earth...
